Genre: Fantasy drama

Logline: When diagnosed with a terminal illness a woman's dreams lead her on a search for immortality.

Synopsis: Nikita's life was one of leisurely pleasure. A moderately famous singer, single, unencumbered, she lived for herself sating her desires within a superficial life.

A terminal illness threatens her shallow existence, but it's the accompanying dreams that unnerve her more. Visions of the mythical Phoenix leads her on an obsessed search for the secret to rebirth. Is her illness the cause of this obsession or does the answer require her death, hence the terminal disease?

Remission and recovery from her disease ends her search, yet traces of the obsession linger. Only when the myth touches reality does Nikita discover the exquiste depth of being.
